David Ragland is a Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and Chief Executive Officer of IRC Wealth. Holding both a BBA and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia, David began his career in the tax division of Ernst & Young. He then served as CFO for several companies, gaining experience in taking companies public and propelling them on to the INC 500 List of Fastest Growing Companies.
David blends a traditional academic and professional background with a fresh and energetic focus. As a successful businessman, Ironman triathlete, financial “coach,” and best-selling author, he understands and articulates the core ingredients that can motivate, energize and push people across their personal finish lines.
Michelle Thompson is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Trust Financial Analyst. Prior to joining IRC Wealth, she had her own law practice where she focused on estate planning, asset protection and elder law. Having earned a BS in Finance from the University of North Carolina, Michelle began her career as a banker before working as a realtor and then attending the John Marshall Law School.
During her time as a realtor, she also became a professional firefighter, working a shift every three days at the East Point Fire Department. A native Atlantan, Michelle has volunteered for Project Open Hand and Hospice Atlanta, and she was appointed by the City Council to serve on the City of East Point Ethics Board.
For more than a decade, Valerie has managed the internal financial, compliance and operations of IRC Wealth while also overseeing the bookkeeping for many of our clients. Valerie ensures that all aspects of a company’s finances are analyzed, interpreted, disseminated and documented properly. Her responsibilities also include financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance as well as various HR activities.
She lives with her husband, children and dogs in Lilburn.
Since 2017, Tiffany has served as an Investment Analyst. Having spent the previous two years studying client planning and investment methods as Head of Client Services, Tiffany has now passed the Series 65, the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination that covers laws, regulations, ethics and topics such as retirement planning, portfolio management strategies and fiduciary responsibilities. Receiving this required securities license allows her to work more closely with clients and gain a deeper understanding of their needs and goals. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 candidate, preparing for their exam on investment analysis, economics, portfolio theory, accounting, corporate finance and more.
Before IRC Wealth, she was a Sales Operations Manager where her responsibilities included overseeing logistics, billing, customer service and IT while also interacting with clients and sales teams throughout the U.S. She and her husband live in Cumming with their two dogs.
Meghan Henderson | Head of Client Services
As Head of Client Services, Meghan is in frequent contact with clients and visitors of IRC Wealth. She manages the logistics and reports in preparation for client planning sessions as well as assisting with communication and account setups to help ensure the long-term success of our clients.
Meghan’s career has been focused on customer service, starting with her job at Stone Mountain Park where she managed more than 50 customer-facing employees. From there she worked as an insurance agent and then as an account coordinator in the health industry, managing accounts throughout the country. She joined IRC Wealth in May 2017. A native Atlantan, Meghan and her daughter live in Stone Mountain.
